My grandson, Noah, 12, enrolled in a martial arts program in the past 12-18 months, and has become quite proficient in the sport. Recently, my wife and I were privileged to watch him demonstrate his skills; along with a couple dozen other male and female participants. Believe me. I was impressed.

Fast forward.

In the past couple of months, and while Noah has continued to pursue Taekwondo in an after school program, during the school day he was given the choice to participate in P.E. or an elective program, Ballroom Dancing

He chose (drum roll)

... Ballroom Dancing

In the past couple of days Noah and his dance partner competed against ten other teams. The video is nothing less than amazing! Noah and “Lucy” scored a very respectable 3rd place.

(Did I mention how inestimably proud of him I am)?

I will never think of martial arts and ballroom dancing as mutually exclusive again.
