If you are ever tempted to doubt why you have been placed on the earth, I assure you it is to:
#1 - Love and serve God
#2 - Love and serve the men, women, boys and girls by whom you are surrounded
I have often told my interns and clients to "look at the shape of the cross. There is a vertical beam pointing upwards towards God. There is a horizontal beam pointing outwards towards those who God has set in our pathway. God and mankind are our two primary responsibilities and those in whom we should invest our time, toil and treasure.
