DADDY, WHAT IS IT LIKE TO DIE?

I once heard a story in which a terminally ill son asks his father what it is like to die. His dad responded with, "You know how when you fall asleep on the couch sometime, and I pick you up and put you in bed, and how you wake up, and you're in your own little room?" And the boy shook his head with a knowing look in his eyes. The father continued, "Well, that's exactly how it is when you die. You will close your eyes here, and God will send His angel for you, and he will lift you up in his arms, and you will wake up in your own little room in heaven." The boy died shortly thereafter, but as long as he remained here it seemed he was at peace with death, and the life that awaited him on the other side.
