Widows and Children (Indeed)

The man who currently lives in that White House on Pennsylvania Avenue has been criticizing the recent move by over thirty of the fifty U.S. governors to deny access to some 10,000 or more Syrian refugees which he would like to settle in the United States.

One phraseo-logic (or perhaps phraseo-nonlogic) condemnation by our Commander in Chief went something like,

“Do you mean you’re going to deny access to a bunch of innocent widows and children?”

Well, don’t look now, Mr. President, but during the Vietnam Conflict women and children were used as weapons against our troops.  It wasn’t unheard of for the “bad boys” to place explosives in the diapers of otherwise helpless infants.

And I can tell you the Syrian and Iraqi migration going on right now isn’t confined to only widows and children. There’s plenty of men tagging along with them.

Just recently, one of the eight terrorists who were involved in France’s own 911 came there as a Syrian (so-called) refugee. (We know now what he really went there to do). And just last night it was revealed that a couple of other Syrians assisted, either within or without the borders of France, in planning the cowardly deed.

I have every ounce of compassion for the refugees of this 21st century migration. But should we allow a mass influx of refugees into this country, I have no doubt that among them we can expect to see a few, if only a few, radical Muslims with a decidedly dastardly agenda.
