I was
watching the “Sunday Morning” program this morning and a segment came on
relating to a photographer who takes color photographs of endangered species of
animals. Most of the pictures are taken in the nation’s zoos since there are no
longer any of their kind left in the wild.
And I’ve
naturally wondered about the man’s compulsion to take the 6,000 photos he’s
already taken, and the 6,000 more he intends to take before the end of his lifetime,
and how much more good he might have done if he’s put that much time and effort
into saving the almost 2 million lives of unborn children who are aborted on a
yearly basis in America.
Just a
random thought. No doubt there’s a lot more every concerned citizen can do in
this regard.
For after
all, what good would it be if the thousands of endangered animal species which
succumb every year were salvaged, and ultimately lived and thrived on the earth,
and endangered humans ceased to exist?
