I Prayed for Her

While I was taking a shower a moment ago, I thought of someone whom I barely knew from half a century ago. I can’t account for the thought since I’m doubtful she and I ever exchanged two words.

(name omitted)

She was a lovely young lady, and as I recall she was not only a classmate in our local high school, one or two years older than me, but she was a member of our church youth group.

Funny, how faces and names occasionally come to us at the most unexpected times.

For lack of any other contact or intervention,

… I prayed for her.
