"There was a preacher who lived in the mountains of North Carolina who was known to drive far too fast. His friends were worried about him since he had experienced several 'near misses.' One day the minister was negotiating the mountain curves far too quickly, as usual, and a friend of his named Joe recognized his car in front of him. The preacher neared what was known as 'dead man's curve' now, and suddenly ran over the cliff! Joe was horrified, and screeched to a stop. Running down the side of the mountain Joe saw the parson's car lying on its roof and burning. Now he saw the minister crawling out of the window. Joe screamed. "Preacher, preacher are you alright?" To which the preacher replied, "Well, yes thank you. The Lord's riding with me." Joe shook his head and replied, "You better let Him ride with me before you kill Him!!!"
