LET ME RUN WITH YOU A WHILE

Back when I was a member of the National Guard, I was participating in the required annual two mile run, and struggling a bit. Suddenly, a faster runner prepared to go around me, and said,

"Let me run with you a while."

As a result I knew he was sacrificing himself and his time for me. He ran a few hundred yards alongside me, cheering me on, and finally said,

"See you at the finish line" and dashed on ahead.

We all need someone stronger and faster to run along side of us "a while"; to encourage us, and cheer us on.

I choose to be such a person.
