There's a pastor in Arkansas named Bob Joyce who looks and sings like Elvis Presley. I kid you not. And he has quite a fan following with thousands of people convinced that he IS Elvis, though he consistently denies it. Some claim they have seen him in the company of Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley, and that he has been known to pose as a gardener at Graceland.

Of course, all true believers in this fella and what they regard as his "real" identity believe that Elvis faked his death back in 1977, as he had more fame and money than Carter had little liver pills, and that he was ready to go incognito.

The best thing I can say for these Elvis Presley alias Rev. Bob Joyce believers is they are very gullible.

I mean Bob Joyce has a birth certificate which assures us that he was born on June 19, 1952, (not January 8, 1935). And if you look at a photo or video of the man, he barely looks old enough to be 72 years old. He certainly is NOT 90 years of age. (If he is, he has been trippin out on embalming fluid).

I have thought of a fool-proof way to prove beyond any doubt that the living Bob Joyce and the dead Elvis Presley are two very distinct individuals. A voice print of both of them singing the same lines of the same song would prove it beyond any conceivable doubt.

Stay tuned. Perhaps Brother Bob will take me up on my suggestion. He will if he's tired of being mistaken for a dead man.
